‘Burlectric’ is a party like-no-other, a truly one-of-a-kind super-event and THE highlight of September’s calendar of clubbing in the capital. SeOne, London’s newest party postcode, is to be transformed into a haven of glamour and glitter, groove and gusto, debauchery and delight, for one night only this September.
Moloko’s revered and eccentric fashionista, Róisín Murphy, adds her style and sass to a perfect blend of headline acts and up-and-coming talent. The boys of Indie, Razorlight, the boss of Breaks, Hybrid, and the engineer of Electronica, David E. Sugar, will all grace the decks alongside Rae, Goldierocks, Feelin’ Electro and Johan Ten Houten.
As well as using established acts and musically renowned artists, Butterfly Knights champions hot new talent and offers a unique platform to perform on. For this extravaganza, they will be offering up live performances from hot new bands The Coolness, Kindle, The Vibrants and Dega Breaks.
The Fashion Room will provide a podium for up and coming designer talent by showcasing exciting new creations by graduate students from the London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins. Kate Underwood, a finalist in this year’s ASOS’s top 100 competition, will also be dressing models in her uber-leather designs, previously worn and modelled by music’s newest icon, VV Brown. There will also be original burlesque performances from Miss Bijou Noir and Kiki Kaboom.
For those of you who demand more from your weekend adventures, Butterfly Knights has created an interactive ‘PlaySpace’ equipped with touch-sensitive ibars, ifloors, and itouch screens. Combine this with the awe-inspiring collection of magicians, acrobats, dancers and ‘Social Butterflies’ that will infiltrate the club, and you will see how much of a punch this party is going to pack.
Butterfly Knights was born out of a love for great, original clubbing, with an alternative twist. Now on its third event, Butterfly Knights has built up a loyal following, renowned on the clubbing scene for the night’s unique mix of music and performance.
