Almost half a century after their first gig in the port city of Hamburg, more than a decade since the first sketches were committed to paper, following two years of intense planning and ten months of construction, The Beatles have finally come home to Hamburg. On 29th May, 2009,BEATLEMANIA Hamburg, close to the new Beatles Square, at the heart of the famous St Pauli district where it all began,opened its doors to the world.

With exhibition space covering some 1,300square metres on five storeys of the former Erotic Art Museumon the Reeperbahn in Hamburg, this is the ultimate ticket to ride. BEATLEMANIA boasts a wealth of enthralling and, in some cases, unique exhibits documenting the story of The Beatles, from their days in Hamburg to the final break-up, a fascinating experience. Each of the eleven spaces focuses on a particular theme from the band’s career as they became one of the most influential groups in the history of music.
