Already a huge success independently and voted ‘One to Watch’ by internet giants Tiscali, Laura Steel is a fiercely dedicated performer and songwriter who has shared stages with the likes of Pixie Lott and Diana Vickers, and performed to over 250,000 people in the UK and US in 2009. A skilled songwriter and lyricist, Laura writes the majority of her own material, and is fully involved in the creative process from designing her own artwork through to crafting her own unique personal style.
Having recently walked the catwalk for renowned celebrity stylist Jonny Blue Eyes (Beth Ditto, Klaxons, Noisettes) Laura’s style is as attention-grabbing as her sound is electrifying. In 2009 Laura was endorsed by celebrity fashion powerhouse Lipsy, the first unsigned artist to receive this level of support from the brand, and has also received unrivalled support from pro-audio brand Sennheiser, who endorse a limited number of hugely successful acts, including Pink and Natalie Imbruglia.
